The brand

Hammond grew from one conviction: a good longboard shouldn't cost a fortune. For years we have built complete longboards for carving, dancing and cruising and shipped them to riders across Europe. Every model — the Ding Dong, Piper 40, B-35 and B-40 — is deliberately kept simple: no loud graphics, just the right flex, shape and balance. Top performance without top prices, from €124.95.

8 plies of Canadian maple

Every Hammond deck is pressed from 8 plies of Canadian maple. That build gives the perfect mix of flex and stiffness: enough spring to carve smoothly, enough backbone to stay stable at speed and under any rider's weight. The soft concave and the lifted nose and tail make the deck comfortable for any foot size and capable of tricks like manuals, shovits and kickflips.

Surf Highway wheels & Abec-5 bearings

Our longboards roll on custom 70mm Surf Highway urethane wheels, shaped with a bevelled edge for fast, sharp and precise steering while carving and cruising. Underneath sit Abec-5 (608ZZ) lubed bearings for a smooth, long roll. Drop-through or top-mount trucks keep the centre of gravity low for maximum stability.

Built for your riding style

A longboard is not a skateboard. It is longer, has larger and softer wheels and is made for longer, flowing rides. Hammond focuses entirely on those longboard disciplines:

• —Carving — tight, snowboard-like turns. The Piper 40 and B-40 excel here thanks to their length and stiffness.
• —Dancing — stepping and spinning on a long, stable deck. The B-40 with its 33¼" wheelbase suits this best.
• —Cruising — relaxed rides through the city and down the street. Every Hammond board cruises comfortably; the compact B-35 is the easiest to carry.
• —Freeride & freestyle — slopes, slides and tricks. The Ding Dong is built for this as a hybrid freestyle deck.
