An amazing longboard to ride, with a bit of flex and the needed stiffness for any rider's weight. 39 inches provide the length needed to carve tight or smooth. 9 inches width and a soft concave make it comfortable for any feet size. Trucks are mounted using drop-through system, keeping the center of gravity really low. About this longboard
The Hammond Ding-Dong is the hybrid freestyle longboard in the Hammond line: a 39-inch drop-through deck with a lifted nose and tail, built to carve, cruise and pull tricks on the same board. If you want one longboard that does it all, your search starts here — and you buy it straight from Hammond, not through a reseller.
Who is the Ding-Dong for?
For the rider who refuses to choose. The lifted nose and tail make manuals, shovits, 360° spins and kickflips possible, while the drop-through mount keeps the centre of gravity low for stable cruising and carving. With 8 plies of Canadian maple and a soft concave, the deck is comfortable for any foot size and rider weight. A strong pick as a first serious longboard you can grow into.

Frequently asked questions
Where do I buy the Hammond Ding-Dong?
Directly from the maker at long-board.eu. You receive the complete board ready to ride, with free shipping within the Netherlands and low EU shipping rates.
Is the Ding-Dong suitable for beginners?
Yes. The low centre of gravity from the drop-through mount and the soft concave make the board stable and forgiving, while the nose and tail leave room to grow into tricks.
What's the difference between the Ding-Dong and the Piper 40?
The Ding-Dong is drop-through mounted for a low, stable freestyle feel; the Piper 40 is top-mount with more turning power and resistance, aimed at hard carving and freeride. Want mostly tricks and cruising: Ding-Dong. Want the snowboard feel when carving hard: Piper 40.
Can I do tricks on the Ding-Dong?
Yes, it is a freestyle deck with a lifted nose and tail — built for manuals, nose-manuals, shovits, 360° spins and kickflips.
